Avoid falling victim to scams

The City of San Diego has issued a warning to its residents about a new type of scam circulating via fraudulent text messages. These messages claim to notify recipients about an alleged "parking invoice" and direct them to make payments through a fake link.

Authorities have clarified that these notifications do not come from the municipal administration and are actively working to shut down the fake website associated with this scam.

⏰ Hours of operation: Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The City of San Diego urges the community to stay vigilant and avoid providing personal information or making payments through unofficial links. Always verify the authenticity of messages and use official channels for any matters related to parking citations.
