A low-pressure system will move across the region between Sunday and Monday, bringing light rain, mountain snow, and gusty winds. Most of the rain and snow will occur Sunday afternoon and evening, though showers could linger over San Diego County into Monday morning.  

 

Although precipitation will be light, strong wind gusts are expected in the deserts, mountains, and nearby waters.

Difficult driving conditions are anticipated, and hazardous waters could pose risks for small craft, swimmers, and surfers. Caution is advised in these areas.
