The suspects flee

On Wednesday morning, a robbery was reported at a 7-Eleven store located at 4300 Main Street. According to witnesses, three African American men, driving a Ford pickup truck, were involved in the incident.

Two of the suspects entered the store while employees were inside. They later exited to the entrance, where they attached a heavy chain to an ATM in an attempt to rip it out. However, after failing to remove it completely but causing significant damage, the suspects re-entered the store to steal cash before fleeing the scene.

The criminals escaped eastbound on Main Street before heading north on Interstate 805. Shortly after, police officers located the abandoned Ford truck on the right shoulder of the intersection at Orange Avenue and Main Street.

So far, the suspects have only been described as African American men wearing ski masks at the time of the robbery. Authorities have also confirmed that the truck used in the crime had been previously stolen.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to contact local law enforcement.
