Elon Musk plans to change the Twitter logo to an "X" in a significant move since he acquired the social media platform last year for $44 billion. The change is set to apply worldwide starting on Monday, as stated by the Twitter owner.

 

Musk, also the owner of Tesla, has recently implemented new limits on the platform, which has generated criticism and concerns about the social media's influence.

 

Twitter's revenues have decreased significantly since Musk took control, and he has taken measures to increase them, such as launching an $8 per month subscription service.

 

The competition with Meta's new app, Threads, is also affecting Twitter as many users quickly registered for Threads, seeking an alternative to the platform.
