Sergio "Checo" Perez's 2023 Season has been filled with challenging moments, especially during the recent qualifying rounds of the Grand Prix. This raised doubts about whether he would continue as part of Red Bull for the 2024 Formula 1 Season. However, the situation has now been clarified.

 

Today, Christian Horner, the director of Red Bull, confirmed Sergio Perez's continuity for the upcoming season. He made this announcement prior to the Belgium Grand Prix.

 

During the conversation with Horner, he was asked about the Mexican driver's presence in the next season, and he simply responded with a definitive "yes," without further ado.

 

Currently, Checo holds the Second Position in the Drivers' Standings, thanks in part to his six podium finishes and victories in both the Saudi Arabian and Azerbaijan Grand Prix races.
