Juan Carlos Osorio will have a new asset at his disposal for the 2024 Apertura of Liga MX, as it was announced this afternoon that Mexican forward Jesús Hernández has joined the team. 

 

Hernández had been training in Querétaro with Gallos Blancos after his departure from Elche in Spanish football, but the management decided that he would join the "Canes Aztecas" and not Mauro Gerk's team.

 

It is worth noting that Hernández made his First Division debut with Gallos Blancos during the Apertura 2021. In 2022, he moved to Elche, but ultimately played with their affiliate team, scoring 10 goals.

 

He has also had the honor of wearing the colors of the Mexican National Team, albeit with age restrictions.

 

"The new Xoloitzcuintles player is an agile forward, proficient with both feet, and a strong finisher in the box. He has been training alongside his new teammates under the supervision of Juan Carlos Osorio," read part of the club's statement.
