The Mexican National Team is under intense scrutiny following its disappointing performance, particularly after drawing 2-2 with Valencia's "B" team at the Estadio Cuauhtémoc, home of Puebla's La Franja.

In search of redemption, the national team is set to face the United States today at Estadio Akron, home of Chivas Guadalajara. However, head coach Javier Aguirre is a doubt for the crucial match after being hospitalized this morning in Guadalajara due to reported discomfort.

Aguirre was taken to the clinic of Dr. Rafael Ortega, known for treating issues faced by professional athletes.
