A incident occurred aboard American Airlines Flight 1915, which was traveling from Milwaukee to Dallas, Texas, when a passenger attacked a flight attendant and then attempted to open the plane's doors.

The man, who got up from his seat and urgently requested that the crew let him off the plane, assaulted the employee after being informed that it was not possible.

Passengers intervened and helped restrain the attacker by using adhesive tape from an onboard kit to tie his hands and ankles, preventing him from posing a safety risk. The flight landed without incident at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, where the man was arrested by police and taken for a mental health evaluation.
