On May 28th, a heartbreaking incident took place in Tecamac, State of Mexico, which was captured on a security camera: the moment a man throws a dog into a pot of boiling oil.

The video shows a man wearing a light blue polo shirt and shorts. He exits a store and without hesitation, grabs a passing dog and throws it into a pot of oil on the sidewalk, apparently outside a butcher shop.

It was revealed that the man had gone to argue at the butcher shop located on Benito Juárez Street in the municipality of Tecamac. He pulled out a weapon and threatened the employee. Then, upon leaving, he picked up a dog that was on the sidewalk and put it into the pot of oil.

Despite the dog's attempts to escape, it was impossible. It received medical attention, but the injuries were fatal, and it lost its life moments later.

The animal welfare organization called ‘Peludos Desamparados’ shared the video to demand justice and ask the community for support in locating the individual. They posted on their Twitter account, "Today, around noon on the 28th, this person went to argue at a butcher shop on Benito Juárez Street in #Tecamac. Upon leaving, IRRATIONALLY, he picked up a small dog that was just passing by and... THREW IT INTO THE POT OF BOILING OIL!", they said on Twitter.

Members of ‘Peludos Desamparados’ took legal action after the video was released. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 28th, around noon.

Animal rescuers are urging people to report the man who cruelly attacked the dog, and they assure that all information will be treated anonymously. Those who reacted to the video are demanding justice and expressing their outrage at such a cruel action, calling for the full weight of the law to fall upon the man who threw the dog into the pot.
