Brayan "N" is presumed to be the perpetrator of three femicides recorded in Tijuana from September 2021 to February 2022

A man wanted for allegedly being responsible for three femicides in Tijuana has been arrested in the city of Downey, California. The man in question is Brayan "N," who was sought by the State Investigation Agency (AEI) of the General Prosecutor's Office of Baja California. The capture was achieved in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Marshal agents, who, in response to an extradition request, provided information to locate the suspect's address.

Brayan "N" is presumed to be the perpetrator of three femicides that occurred in Tijuana from September 2021 to February 2022, as the investigation places him at the crime scenes where the victims' bodies were found. The Baja California Prosecutor's Office requested Interpol to initiate a search warrant against Brayan Andrade Rivera, 31 years old, whom they identify as the alleged serial killer of Tijuana.

The Attorney General, Iván Carpio Sánchez, confirmed that international police assistance was requested to apprehend the alleged femicide. Investigations conducted so far reveal similarities in the modus operandi of the murders, linking the cases together. The arrest of Bryan Andrade Rivera was made possible by identifying his location through security camera footage in the vicinity where the victims were found, including a hotel and a location where he abandoned one of the bodies.

It is suspected that the man may have residency in the United States, and his activities in Tijuana have been neutralized so far. Authorities are urging the public to provide information that could lead to the capture of this and other alleged femicides, offering a reward of up to 500,000 pesos.

The arrest of Bryan Andrade Rivera, known as the "Ted Bundy of Tijuana," represents a significant breakthrough in the investigations that began in December 2022. His modus operandi and alleged connection to the murders of several women put him under scrutiny. It is expected that he will be extradited to Mexico in the coming days to face charges of femicide and/or homicide.
