The Mexican Baseball League (LMB) is opening its doors to Julio Urías in case he cannot continue his career in Major League Baseball (MLB).

 

The above was revealed by the president of the LMB, Horacio de La Vega, on the condition that he fulfills a requirement.

 

"It has happened that players have participated in the Mexican League who are undergoing a legal process, such as the case of Julio Urías, if they have only been acquitted or have served a sentence; provided that a situation like this has concluded its punishment in the Majors, then, if they have, they can come to the Mexican League. Those are the conditions for them to come and play," de La Vega mentioned.

 

Currently, Julio Urías is under investigation by U.S. authorities for a domestic violence case that occurred in September of this year.

 

As a result, Julio Urías is on Administrative Leave and suspended by the Los Angeles Dodgers.

 

It is important to mention that the Sinaloan pitcher currently does not face any charges.

 

This week, he had a court appointment in the United States, but only his lawyer appeared.
