Next to it was a narcomanta

This morning, residents of the state of Chiapas discovered the decapitated body of a man hanging from the bridge on the highway stretch connecting Tuxtla Gutiérrez to Ocozocoautla de Espinoza. The body was accompanied by a narcomanta addressed to "El Güero Pulseras," identified as the emissary of Ismael "El Mayo Zambada" and the leader of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Images shared on social media show the head hanging by the hair, and the rest of the body inside a black plastic bag, suspended by one leg. The message next to the remains contained a threat, indicating reprisals against certain individuals.

The State Attorney General's Office confirmed the discovery around noon after receiving reports through the Municipal Police of Berriozábal. In its initial statement, the institution reported that it had not yet been possible to identify the victim.

According to preliminary reports cited by the Proceso newspaper, around 7:40 AM, several armed men descended from a silver-colored truck at kilometer 142,800, hanging the human remains and the banner. The authorities deployed the Investigation Police to initiate the relevant investigations.

'El Güero Pulseras' has been identified as the plaza boss of the Sinaloa Cartel in Chiapas since June 2021, according to reports from journalist Anabel Hernández. There have been speculations about imposing fees on local criminal groups to consolidate control over the territory, leading to armed conflicts. Among his alleged rivals is Juan Manuel Valdovinos Mendoza, also known as 'El Señor de los Caballos' or 'El Fraile,' the regional leader of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
