This marvelous natural event won't occur again until the year 2052
After 33 long years of anticipation, thousands of people, both locals and visitors from different parts of the country and the world, gathered at the Port of Mazatlán, specifically at the Paseo del Mar, to witness the total solar eclipse.
The boardwalk was closed to vehicular traffic and became an exclusive space for observing and enjoying this historic phenomenon.
The immense shadow of the eclipse that turned day into night began to cover the lands of Mazatlán at 9:51, reaching its peak darkness at 11:09 in the morning.
Spectators couldn't contain their shouts of excitement as they witnessed with great awe and admiration the perfect synchronization between the Earth, the Moon, and the Sun, capturing this astronomical phenomenon with their cameras and cell phones.
According to CONAHCYT data, a similar astronomical phenomenon won't be witnessed again until the year 2052.
