In a move that has generated significant buzz in the baseball world, Roki Sasaki, the sensational Japanese pitcher known as "The Phenomenon," was seen training with the San Diego Padres.  

The 22-year-old, who has already made a mark in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) with the Chiba Lotte Marines, is exploring the possibility of taking his talents to the Major Leagues.  

This move comes as not only the Padres are seeking his services, but also the Los Angeles Dodgers and, more recently, the Toronto Blue Jays.

The San Diego Padres, known for their global approach to scouting talent, have shown a special interest in Sasaki. Under the leadership of General Manager A.J. Training with the Padres does not mean Sasaki has signed an official contract.
