So far in 2026, ICE has made more than 9,300 arrests across the two counties. The data also shows an increase in arrests of people with no criminal convictions.
Nationwide, July also marked a record, with 49,571 ICE arrests, the highest monthly total during President Donald Trump’s second term.
Authorities have also adopted more discreet and targeted enforcement operations as they continue to intensify immigration enforcement.
Note: San Diego figures refer to ICE’s Area of Responsibility, which includes both San Diego and Imperial counties. Therefore, there is no publicly available breakdown showing how many of the arrests occurred exclusively within San Diego County.
