A heroic act by a mere 12-year-old child shook the city of Tijuana. The young boy alerted the Municipal Police about the violence his mother was enduring at the hands of her own father. The swift action of the child led to the apprehension of the assailant, who was carrying a knife and a .38 special caliber revolver loaded with six rounds.

The incident took place in the Leandro Valle neighborhood, where the brave child arrived at the South Regional Command Margarito Saldaña to seek help. Thanks to his courageous intervention, the police officers responded to the residence and rescued the mother, who was trapped and calling for help from a window. The aggressor, Óscar "N", 35 years old, was detained, and the weapons he was using to threaten his partner were confiscated.
