The Chula Vista Starlight Parade & Festival returned to San Diego County

The annual Christmas parade took place in Chula Vista, California, attracting around 2000 people who gathered to celebrate the festive season. The event, held on the iconic 3rd Avenue in downtown Chula Vista, captivated residents and visitors alike with its splendid display of lights and colorful floats.

 

 

 


 

The parade, which has become a beloved tradition in the community, started promptly, illuminating the night with the brilliance of Christmas decorations and the creativity displayed on each participating float. From luminous reindeer to dancing elves, participants spared no effort to bring Christmas joy to everyone present.

 

 

 


 

Children and adults alike enjoyed the festive atmosphere while eagerly awaiting Santa Claus's triumphant entrance. The acclaimed Christmas character closed the parade, extending greetings and good wishes to the excited crowd that welcomed him with cheers and applause.

 

 

 


 

In addition to the floats, the parade featured the participation of local bands, dance groups, and choirs, providing a festive soundtrack and adding a special touch to the celebration. The event kicked off around 6:30 pm, culminating at 8:00 pm. Organizations, associations, students from Chula Vista schools, volunteers, and private sector organizations marched in the parade.

 

 

 


 

Local authorities ensured that the event ran smoothly, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees. Chula Vista police deployed a special operation to direct traffic and ensure the safety of spectators along the parade route.
