At the border between Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, and El Paso, Texas, migrant individuals clashed with elements of the US National Guard in an attempt to illegally enter the neighboring country.

Dozens of individuals, desperate due to harsh conditions of hunger and cold after weeks of journey in pursuit of the so-called "American dream," arrived via the Rio Grande, specifically at marker 36. Some individuals placed pieces of clothing and blankets over the barbed wire while shouting "we are hungry!"

Armed personnel rushed to contain the group, reinforcing security in the area. Metal fences with barbed wire were installed to prevent the migrants from passing through, although some managed to penetrate the chain-link fence meters ahead.

The situation escalated when a group of approximately 80 migrants attempted to cross en masse into US territory, removing the fence and barbed wire from the containment wall.

After controlling the situation and preventing mass entry, the migrants continue to camp in the area, demanding food, water, and the opportunity to reunite with their relatives in the United States. Dozens more keep arriving in the area, walking several kilometers along the riverbank in search of an opportunity to cross.
