It was through multiple gunshots that influencer Vielka Pulido and her partner had their lives taken as they exited a gym. The incident occurred on Zavaleta Avenue in Puebla.

According to reports, the assaulted couple was inside their white BMW when a group of armed individuals traveling in a gray vehicle intercepted them and fired multiple shots.

Reportedly, more than 10 shots were fired to end the life of the young influencer from Puebla, who had tens of thousands of followers on Instagram and apparently shared content about her lifestyle and beauty.

Initial reports mentioned that one of the victims was injured during the attack but later died on San Judas Tadeo Street, located in the Santa Cruz Buenavista neighborhood.

Elements of the State Police, Municipal Police, and personnel from the Advanced Medical Emergency System (SUMA) quickly responded to the scene, providing assistance to the victim who lost their life, while officers began a search to locate the perpetrators of the homicide.

The motive for this crime remains unknown, and the State Attorney General's Office (FGE) is conducting the corresponding investigations to clarify the events. Meanwhile, the Forensic Medical Service (SEMEFO) will carry out the removal of the bodies and their transfer to a morgue.

Who Was Vielka Pulido?

Vielka Álvarez Pulido was a Puebla-based influencer with thousands of followers on social media. On her Instagram account, she used to share photographs of places and trips where she displayed various luxuries.

In August 2023, the influencer known as La Bendi reported the theft of a Doce & Gabbana handbag at the Rakata nightclub, seeking the help of her followers to recover it.
