This is not the first incident related to the company
A man in his 30s was found dead inside a pressing machine at the PrimeWheel company, located on Exportadores Street in the Ejido Chilpancingo neighborhood of Tijuana.
According to authorities, the incident was reported via 911 around 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday. When Red Cross paramedics and Fire Department units arrived at the scene, they confirmed the man’s death.
The victim’s family arrived at the factory shortly after, having learned of the tragedy through photographs posted on Facebook, which showed half of Eduardo’s face crushed.

“He was a technician. When a rim got stuck, he would adjust the machines so the conveyor belt could keep moving. He wasn’t supposed to be under the machines—I don’t understand what he was doing down there,” said Carmen Morales, a relative of the victim.
Carmen shared that Eduardo, who was about to turn 31, had only 30% hearing ability. He had worked at the company for six and a half years and was originally from Pachuca, Hidalgo, where his mother and sister reside. His sister also learned of the incident through social media.
“I can’t believe there’s a dead man inside, and they’re still moving rims. If I worked there, I’d stop working and let them do whatever they want,” Carmen Morales expressed, noting that the company continued operating after the accident.
After waiting half an hour and being attended by the Human Resources department, the family received the company’s first response: “They don’t know anything,” because Eduardo’s ID badge had allegedly been burned.
“They don’t want to show the cameras, they don’t want to show anything. We spoke to the head of the security cameras, and he told us he was on his lunch break,” they added.
At this time, no further details about the incident have been released, although the victim has been removed from the scene, which is now under the responsibility of State Intelligence Agents from the State Attorney General's Office (FGE).
Additionally, users on social media shared a purported video of the victim.
This is not the first incident related to the company. Three months ago, on August 23, PrimeWheel worker Servando Salazar Cano disappeared after being last seen at the company’s facilities.
